How soon can I expect my personal poem?
I typically offer a 14 day turnaround. (I've found that a good poem typically takes me 1-2 weeks to compose. This allows plenty of time for conversation, composition, and then any edits or re-writes you may want.)
Need it sooner? No harm is asking! Some of my favorite poems have been written in 24 hours or less. Give me your deadline, and if at all possible I will make it work.
How involved do I need to be?
It's completely up to you! The more information I have, the more specific to your loved one I'll be able to make the poem. I'll send you a list of questions to answer, which is usually all I need, but of course extra input is always welcome.
How do I pay (and how much does it cost?)
You can pay via venmo or paypal, due once you sign off on the final draft of your poem. I typically ask $75 for 4-6 stanzas. If you want something shorter or significantly longer, or if you need your poem in a hurry, we can work something out.
Can I do whatever I want with the poem?
All rights reserved by Tessa Harber and Write Me Rhyme. However, it's your gift, your poem. I will never post or publish without your permission. Feel free to claim authorship to your loved one if you'd like. (Although also feel free to credit Write Me a Rhyme- I work on referrals:).
